When you need to be out of town, you want to ensure your best friend is taken care of. You will be able to relax knowing that your pet is staying with us while you are away.

We have separate dog and cat facilities to provide your pet with a comfortable stay while you are away. Cats and dogs are kept separate for a more relaxing visit. We have a private room with cat condos for cats and a grassy,fenced-in yard for exercising dogs.

We offer indoor runs and an outside exercise area for dogs with supervised one on one attention. If there are housemates they will be turned out together.

Our cat condos are spacious and most times your kitty can have a two level area. Multiple housemates can stay together. An added benefit is the condos are up front with the staff so they get attention all day.

We are able to offer special attention to pets that require medications or special Handling. We will feed any specialized or prescriptive diets that may be required as well as medicate any animals as needed. You will have the added benefit of knowing that if your animal experiences any illness while you're away, it will be promptly and competently addressed by one of our clinicians. Having a Doctor available for any given reason is just one of the advantages of entrusting your pets care to us.

We also offer pickup or drop off anytime during regular business hours. You will not be charged extra for afternoon pickup.

We are able to accommodate most any pet and any situation. Having a staff that specializes in medicine just insures that your pet will be happy and healthy when you return home.

Reba, my ten year old corgi, and I arrive at Nicks front desk. I greet Shaara and Kym. Kathy is coming from the back and Reba sees her. Reba's short legs become a comic strip blur as she runs against her leash to get to her long time friend. She has no hesitation, doesn't cower against me. She's eager for the attention, pats, ear rubs and happy words Kathy gives her. Kathy takes the leash and they head back. Reba never turns her head to tell me goodbye or look at me accusingly. She prances joyfully beside Kathy. My feelings would be hurt if it weren't for the fact that I want her to be happy when I leave for a few days.

I know Reba will get excellent vet care at Nicks. I've been with Dr. Nicks for almost 30 years. She has seen my family through multiple dogs from puppy- hood to the end. what I hadn't realized was how happy I would be boarding Reba there. I've taken Reba to places with doggie pools, brightly painted kennels, piped in music, and one with TVs. She has been happiest at Nicks. I think the continuity, knowing all the sweet people who work there, has a lot to with it. She comes home bathed and relaxed. From one home to another! She also comes home without an upset stomach--a by product of several kennels. Since they also have Reba's health records, Kym reminded me this time that Reba needed a rabies vaccine next month and did I want to save myself a trip. YES!

Reba is my companion and Family. Nicks is a good place for both of us.
